TORRANCE — Police in Torrance on Monday said they arrested rocker Wes Scantlin of the band Puddle of Mudd last week on suspicion of domestic violence and drug possession.
Scantlin was arrested on March 11 after officers responded to a call at a Torrance residence.
He was booked into the Torrance City Jail “and is awaiting further legal proceedings,” police said.
The department declined to release additional information, “due to the nature of the investigation.”
People reported the arrest of Scantlin, Puddle of Mudd’s frontman and lead singer, was tied to a dispute with his girlfriend.
