Averaged 10 points, seven rebounds and one block. Key player for a Class 4A sectional finalist.
Danielle Brooks, Kenwood, Jr.
UIC commit. Brooks averaged 14.1 points, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals. Scored 24 points in the Broncos’ Class 4A state championship win against Fremd. One of the best scorers in the area.
Gina Davorija, Glenbrook South, Sr.
Committed to DePaul. Averaged 21.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.2 steals. Regularly guarded the opposing team’s best player. Made All-Tournament team at York Thanksgiving tournament and Wheaton North tournament. Led Glenbrook South to a Central Suburban League championship.
Nora Ezike, Lyons, forward, Sr.
Stanford commit. Averaged 21 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Led the Lions to a Class 4A regional championship. Broke the school record for points in a game (40 against Prospect on Dec. 26) and in a single season (713). Finished her career as the third-highest scorer in Lyons history with 1,449 points.
Lily Fisher, Libertyville, guard, So.
Averaged 12.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 3.8 assists. Won North Suburban Conference Player of the Year. Led the Wildcats to a 28-6 record (14-0 in conference). One of the best defenders in the state.
Aubrey Galvan, Loyola, guard, Sr.
Committed to Vanderbilt. She averaged 19.8 points, 3.3 steals and 3.1 rebounds. Led Loyola to a 72-4 record over the past two seasons. She broke the single-season school record in points (734) and threes (111). She scored 37 points in Loyola’s Class 4A state semifinal loss to Fremd. Named Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
Ariella Henigan, Kenwood, guard, Sr.
Committed to Howard. Averaged 17.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists en route to a Class 4A state championship. She leaves Kenwood as the all-time leading scorer with 1,808 points.
Destiny Jackson, Young, guard, Sr.
Illinois recruit. Jackson averaged 21.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Helped lead Young to its fourth straight city championship. Ranked as the No. 1 player in the state.
Jamilah Jackson, Westinghouse, guard, Sr.
Averaged 18.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists as the best player on Westinghouse.
Nikki Kerstein, Montini, guard, Sr.
Committed to Missouri. One of the best point guards in the state. Averaged 18.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.4 steals. Ended her high school career with over 2,000 points. Led Montini to Class 3A state championship.
Grace Lee, DePaul Prep, Jr.
Holds offers from Chicago State and Roosevelt. Averaged 14 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks. GACA All-Conference member. First-Team All-Tournament at Loyola Christmas tournament.
Alli Linke, Prospect, forward, Sr.
One of the best finishers in the state. Recorded 103 steals and 88 blocks this season. All-Tournament team at York and Montini. Mid-Suburban League East Player of the Year. Led Prospect to 27-8 record and a regional championship.
Aria Mazza, Benet, guard, Sr.
Uncommitted. Averaged 12.5 points, four rebounds and 1.5 assists for the Redwings. One of the best shooters in the area. Key player for a Benet team that finished 29-3.
Danyella Mporokoso, Waubonsie Valley, guard, Jr.
Averaged 23 points, six rebounds and four assists for a team that made it to a Class 4A supersectional. Scored 22 points in sectional championship win over Benet. One of the most electric scorers in the state.
Emma O’Brien, Lyons, forward, Jr.
Averaged 16.6 points and 5.6 rebounds for a Lyons team that finished 31-3. One of the most versatile players in the state. Made the fourth-most threes in a season in Lyons history (65), recorded the second-most steals in a season (111) and finished second for points in a season (566).
Ally Pape, Maine South, forward, Sr.
Committed to Cornell. Averaged 13.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 steals. Led Maine South to 25-10 record. Knocked down the eighth-most threes in a season in program history (61). Made the Central Suburban League All-Conference team. Became fourth player in program history to score at least 1,000 points (1,066) and grab 500 rebounds (522).
Reganne Reardon, St. Ignatius, forward, Sr.
Headed to West Point to play for Army. Averaged 21.3 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. Led St. Ignatius to Class 3A state runner-up finish and the most wins in program history (32). GCAC All-Conference member. Player of the Game at the Grow the Game showcase.
Stella Sakalas, Nazareth, forward, Jr.
Emerged as one of the best players in the state. Averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocks for a 31-3 team. Named East Suburban Catholic Conference Player of the Year. Scored 23 points in Class 4A semifinal loss to Kenwood.
Ella Todd, Fremd, Guard, Sr.
Committed to Utah. Averaged 18.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and two steals for the Vikings. Led Fremd to a 30-6 record and a Class 4A state runner-up finish. Finished as the program’s third all-time leading scorer with 1,874 points.
NaTallia “Coco” Urlacher, Fremd, guard, Sr.
Undecided. Averaged 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Had the game of her life with 32 points and 17 rebounds in Class 4A semifinal win over Loyola. One of the best athletes in the state.
