But nothing compares to the drama that went down in season 18, when Madison and David embarked on a romance while still married to their expert-picked spouses. </p>
<p id=”par-2_39″>The pair’s brazen affair left the rest of the cast – and the show’s fans – stunned. But did their relationship last? They shared an update during the first part of the <em>Married at First Sight </em>Season 18 reunion. </p>

<p id=”par-4_52″>More than a year after David and Madison’s “grimy” affair was exposed, the two joined the rest of the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/married-at-first-sight-season-18-meet-chicago-couples.html/”><em>Married at First Sight </em>Chicago cast</a> for the season’s reunion special. While their relationship began in dubious circumstances, it proved to be surprisingly enduring. One year after filming ended, they were still together. </p>
<p id=”par-5_46″>“No, I’m not living in [my] momma’s basement no more,” David told reunion host Kevin Frazier. (During the show, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/married-at-first-sight-david-ridiculous-explanation-suspicious-text-michelle.html/”>David’s wife Michelle</a> made it clear she was disappointed her husband did not have his own place.) “I left the nest. Me and Madison actually live together.” </p>
<p id=”par-6_28″>Not only had David moved into Madison’s place, but he was making some big financial moves. (They’ve also exchanged rings as a sign of their commitment to each other.)</p>
<p id=”par-7_24″>“I actually purchased a house, an investment property,” he said. “Actually with this beautiful woman. We had our one-year anniversary. I’m just living life.”</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-madison-says-david-makes-her-feel-special-nbsp-nbsp”>Madison says David makes her feel ‘special’ </h2>
<p id=”par-8_26″>Madison couldn’t be more pleased that signing up for <em>Married at First Sight </em>led her to a happy relationship, albeit not in the way she expected. </p>
<p id=”par-9_23″>“We’re very happy,” she said. “He makes me feel like the most special person in the world without even trying. It’s the best.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_33″>But Frazier wasn’t about to let the circumstances that led to David and Madison getting together go unquestioned. When pressed about when they started to develop feelings for each other, both were evasive. </p>
<p id=”par-11_28″>“I think for me, it was definitely in the gym,” Madison confessed. “It was probably, like, I don’t know, third week, three-and-a-half weeks. I don’t know the timing.” </p>
<p id=”par-12_11″>David eventually admitted he was attracted to Madison from the start. </p>
<p id=”par-13_31″>“From the honeymoon there was that connection there,” he said. “Maybe a thought or two went through [my mind]. Like, ‘Damn, why wasn’t she the woman that walked down that aisle?’”</p>
<p id=”par-14_47″>Allen, who was married to Madison, confronted David about concealing his wandering eye. He said it was hurtful that David acted like they were friends while secretly developing a relationship with Madison. David agreed that he should have been more transparent but said he had no regrets. </p>
<p id=”par-15_12″>“I’ll be 100 with you,” he said. “I shot my shot, man.”</p>
