He spent several months living in Tokyo in 2024 before returning to Los Angeles in 2025 to perform a stunt with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/kanye-west-bianca-censori-draw-harsh-criticism-grammys-dress.html/”>Bianca Censori at the Grammy Awards</a>. Sources claimed West loves Japan because he’s less bothered by the public and can effectively accomplish his work. It seems highly likely that he’ll continue to call the country home as he finishes <em>Bully.</em></p>
<p id=”par-3_16″>During an interview with <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Szqm7V1Muwc” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Justin Laboy</a>, West explained why he spends so much time in Japan.</p>
<p id=”par-4_54″>“I love the temples. I love how people are with you, you know? They’re just really respectful,” West explained. He then noted that Censori believed he was once a “king” in the country. “And my wife said that in past lives, I was a king. I was an emperor out here,” he continued. </p>
<p id=”par-5_61″>West and Censori’s relationship has come under fire after the Grammys, as many of those observing their relationship from the outside believe West controls Censori. After Laboy asked about Japan, he asked West about how the rapper “prioritizes” his “passions.” West explained how he puts his kids first, and then he thinks of himself — and he didn’t mention Censori. </p>

Censori arrived in a black fur coat that she then dropped on the red carpet to reveal her “invisible dress” — a sheer mini dress with nothing underneath. She and West posed together, with West wearing an all-black look. The couple then left after the red carpet. </p>

But investors are allegedly regretting their decision following the Grammys.</p>
