Police are looking for a knife-wielding assailant who fled in a white Jeep after stabbing a man in the neck in Austin Tuesday night, according to Chicago police.
A man, 34, was in a “verbal altercation” with a person only described as a female in the 1700 block of North Mayfield Avenue at 10:10 p.m. when she stabbed him in the neck with a knife, police said.
He was taken o Loyola Medical Center in Maywood in critical condition.
She fled in a white Jeep and has not been arrested.
Area 5 detectives are investigating.
