Affidavit: Main Event shooting in Highlands Ranch started in bathroom before spilling out into arcade

Arrest reports for two women accused of more than 100 counts of accessory to attempted murder and other charges provide new details about a February shooting at a Highlands Ranch arcade.

Niyonii Crowley-Sanders, 21, and Keylonie Simone Fenery, 23, were arrested on suspicion of 121 felony and misdemeanor counts each after the Feb. 8 shooting at Main Event left one woman with serious injuries and a man fatally shot by police.

Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders, 23, is charged with attempted murder and more than 100 other counts in the case.

According to arrest affidavits for Niyonii Crowley-Sanders and Fenery, Niyonii and Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders went into the bathroom near the front of the arcade at around 11:47 p.m. and were followed by seven women about a minute later.

Niyonii and Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders starting fighting with one of the women whom Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders had history and “beef” with, investigators wrote.

The two appeared to be losing the fight when Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders picked up her purse and a gun fell out, which she picked up and fired at a witness, hitting the woman’s purse.

Seven women were seen running out of the bathroom at approximately 11:50 p.m. as gunshots came through the walls, according to the affidavits.

One of the women who was in the bathroom was shot by Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders four times as she tried to flee, investigators said. Previous court records stated the victim injured in the shooting was the same woman fighting with Niyonii and Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders.

Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders continued to shoot at people as they ran away and then walked back toward the bowling alley, meeting up with Jalin Seabron, 23, and Fenery before the group walked out of the front doors.

Seabron was holding a gold-colored gun in his right hand when the group encountered a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy outside, who fatally shot Seabron after police say he pointed his gun toward the front doors and refused to drop the weapon.
