Broadway San Jose announces season lineup filled with mega-hit musicals

Broadway San Jose is bringing the hits to Silicon Valley.

The company’s newly announced 2025-26 season, which takes place at the Center for the Performing Arts in San Jose, includes the hit “Romeo & Juliet” comedic spinoff “& Juliet,” the 2023 Tony Award juggernaut “Some Like It Hot,” the popular musical memoir “Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical” and the groundbreaking Broadway sensation “The Wiz.”

Broadway San Jose will also host “Back to the Future: The Musical,” which is currently playing in San Francisco, as well as the new national tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music.”

Need even more Broadway? The company also has three “special add-on productions” — “The Book of Mormon,” “Beetlejuice” and “Les Miserables.”

“Broadway San Jose’s 2025/26 season is jam-packed with beloved classics and must-see blockbusters that promise to captivate audiences of all ages,” says Broadway San Jose General Manager Gretchen Feyer. “We look forward to working with our community partners throughout the season to provide one-of-a-kind theatrical experiences and unforgettable moments that are sure to create cherished memories for all.”

“& Juliet” (Oct. 7-12)

Shakespeare’s greatest love story get a whole new twist in this funny musical.

“Some Like It Hot” (Oct. 21-26)

This musical, based on the classic film of the same name, won 4 Tony Awards as well as a Grammy.

“A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical” (Dec. 16-21)

Enjoy an evening of music from the chart-topping catalog of the one and only Neil Diamond.

“The Wiz” (Jan. 27-Feb. 1)

Follow along with the adventures of Dorothy as you groove to this musical’s classic mix of ’70s funk, pop, soul, gospel and R&B sounds.

“The Book of Mormon” (March 6-8, 2026)

This play, with music, lyrics, and book by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone, returns for another spin in the Bay Area.

“Beetlejuice” (March 31-April 5, 2026)

This clever musical, based on the enduring Tim Burton film of the same name, is back once again. (Just don’t say the musical’s name three times in a row, please!)

“Les Miserables” (April 29-May 3, 2026)

The show that redefined the word “epic” in the Broadway dictionary returns to San Jose.

Back to the Future: The Musical (June 2-7, 2026)

Based on the classic ’80s movie of the same name, “Back to the Future: The Musical” won the 2022 Olivier Award for best new musical.

“The Sound of Music” (July 21-26, 2026)
