Sprouts Farmers Market to open 34th Colorado location in Aurora

Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open its newest store in Aurora this April.

The nearly 23,000-square-foot building, at 405 S. Chambers Rd, will open its doors to customers at 7 a.m. April 18, offering a range of fresh produce and organic and natural foods.

“We’re thrilled to be opening our 34th Colorado store here in Aurora,” said Ramon Hernandez, store manager of the Aurora location.

“As Colorado’s third-largest city with a flourishing population, Aurora is the perfect community to share Sprouts’ passion for fresh, natural and organic products.”

As part of its expansion, Sprouts is hosting in-person hiring events to fill approximately 93 full- and part-time positions across various departments.

Employment opportunities at the new location include cashiers, courtesy clerks, department managers, assistant department managers, deli clerks, grocery clerks, meat and seafood clerks, and clerks in various departments such as produce, bakery and vitamins and body care. They are also hiring a receiver, administrative coordinator and scan coordinator.

“Our in-person hiring events and future store opening will expand employment opportunities for the local community, bringing more than 90 full- and part-time career opportunities — all while providing healthy grocery options for our shoppers,” Hernandez said.

At least $570 million in federal funding for Colorado still in limbo amid Trump freeze, officials say

In-person team member hiring events will take place at Embassy Suites Denver Central Park, 4444 Havana St., from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 6.

Details about a grand opening celebration will be announced closer to the opening date.

In 2002, Sprouts opened its first store. Now the Phoenix-based grocer employs approximately 35,000 team members and operates more than 440 stores in 24 states nationwide.
