Ventura County Beaches, Ventura County Inland Coast and Malibu were placed under a wind advisory by the National Weather Service on Friday at 4:41 a.m. The advisory is in effect until 2 p.m.
According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA, “Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
