The Bears named Ben Johnson’s first coaching staff Thursday, making official a series of hires the team made since picking their head coach Jan. 21.
The team retained just one coordinator, special teams coach Richard Hightower, and one position coach, tight ends coach Jim Dray, from Matt Eberflus’ staff. The staff includes one former head coach: defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, who coached the Raiders and Saints.
