Meghan soft-launched ARO that same year, sending hand-labeled samples of her strawberry jam to friends including Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, and Kris Jenner.</p>
<p id=”par-3_21″>On Jan. 2, 2025, Netflix announced the premiere of Meghan’s eight-episode lifestyle series. It was set to debut that same month.</p>
<p id=”par-4_66″>Perhaps the network realized they had a make-or-break crisis on their hands as the show’s launch coincided with the devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires. Meghan released a <a href=”https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/with-love-meghan-season-1-release-date-news” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>statement</a>, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-suffers-set-back-another-one-projects-delayed-following-blistering-report.html/?swcfpc=1″>delaying the launch</a>, [to Mar. 4, 2025] as we focus on the needs of those impacted by <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-gets-real-unusual-wildfires-instagram-video.html/?swcfpc=1″>the wildfires</a> in my <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-accused-grandstanding-new-video-regarding-la-wildfires-making-it-all-about-herself.html/?swcfpc=1″>home state of California</a>.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_42″><a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-14381333/Meghan-Markle-Netflix-American-Riviera-Orchard.html”>The Daily Mail</a> reported, “It is understood the show is being edited ‘to include Meghan’s philanthropic work around the fires’ which included visiting victims in Altadena, California.” These make-or-break changes could drastically shift the show’s original focus from homemaking to humanitarian work.</p>
<p id=”par-6_33″>The Duchess of Sussex’s philanthropic work will likely be inserted into already existing footage. It would be costly for Netflix to reshoot an entirely new show with just weeks left to the premiere.</p>
<p id=”par-7_31″>Netflix has not confirmed if any editing to the series has occurred ahead of its March debut. The Daily Mail reportedly quoted a source close to the duchess for this information.</p>

<p id=”par-8_53″>In the days after the Palisades, Eaton, and Hughes fires destroyed thousands of homes and acreage in Southern California, a rush to help those who lost their homes and belongings ensued. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped up to help and distributed food at World Central Kitchen in Pasadena, California on January 10.</p>
<p id=”par-9_24″>The couple donated supplies, served meals to displaced families, and spoke to victims. They also contributed an undisclosed monetary donation through their Archewell Foundation.</p>
<p id=”par-10_33″>The couple also shared a statement on their <a href=”https://sussex.com/southern-california-fires/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>website</a>: “We will continue to uplift and support those most in need.” They listed a list of resources for those who wanted to assist thereafter.</p>

<p id=”par-12_39″>A press release says Meghan’s new show reimagines lifestyle programming. Furthermore, the series shows the duchess “[share] personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and [highlighting] how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.”</p>
<p id=”par-13_32″>This series continues Meghan and Prince Harry’s ongoing partnership with the streamer, which reportedly expires sometime in 2025. They reportedly signed a contract for five years worth $100 million in 2020. </p>
