Man fatally stabbed outside Waukegan steakhouse

A man was stabbed to death Saturday night outside a Waukegan steakhouse.

Waukegan police responded to call of a stabbing about 11:30 p.m. at Forty One Fourteen Steaks and Seafood, 2120 N. Green Bay Road. When they arrived, they found Joshua Kirkwood, 51, who had suffered stab wounds, the Lake County coroner’s office said.

Kirkwood was taken to Vista Medical Center East, where he was pronounced dead, the coroner’s office said. An autopsy Monday determined Kirkwood died from multiple sharp-force injuries.

The Waukegan Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for details.
