<p id=”par-1_9″>Abby Stone just doesn’t have that natural maternal instinct. </p>
<p id=”par-2_62″>In the Feb. 11 episode of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/nbc/?swcfpc=1″>NBC</a>’s <em>Night Court, </em>the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/night-court-revival-melissa-rauch-abby-stones-dark-past.html/”>Melissa Rauch character</a> steps up to care for her old friend Heather’s (Jessica St. Clair) baby during court. But playing mom for the night proves to be pretty stressful. The Manhattan Municipal Court judge worries that the little one doesn’t like her, as seen in this exclusive clip from “Ab-Ventures in Babysitting.” </p>

<p id=”par-3_35″>“Do you like this? Is this fun for you?” Abby asks as she pushes a stroller through the courthouse hallway while halfheartedly waving a rattle. Her impatience comes through when the infant cries in response.</p>
<p id=”par-4_27″>“OK, OK, it’s not my fault you’re too dumb for fun toys,” she says as <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/night-court-exclusive-clip-dan-believes-landed-whale-investment.html/”>DA Dan Fielding (John Larroquette)</a> looks on while getting his shoes shined. </p>
<p id=”par-5_33″>“I gotta say, I hope this goes better than when you fostered that little squirrel,” he says dryly. “I’ve never seen an animal so willing to jump in front of a garbage truck.” </p>
<p id=”par-6_11″>“That was not my fault,” she retorts. “Zippers was born sad.”</p>

<p id=”par-7_21″>Caring for a squirrel was hard enough. When it comes to dealing with a human baby, Abby is at a loss. </p>
<p id=”par-8_16″>“I don’t get it. I’ve fed him, I’ve changed him, he has his phone,” she says. </p>
<p id=”par-9_23″>Dan wonders if Abby doesn’t like babies because they “don’t like you.” She objects, saying she’s met “tons of babies who love me.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_26″>“There was a baby at this beach once who shot me a look when a dog was trying to pull down its swim trunks,” she says. </p>
<p id=”par-11_6″>“That’s a Coppertone ad,” Dan says. </p>
<p id=”par-12_32″>“So, I’ve never met a baby who likes me,” a frustrated Abby replies. “That’s just because I haven’t tried. If I turned on the charm, this baby would be obsessed with me.”</p>
