Juan Macias capped off a Sunday of catching “amazing crappies” on the Fox Chain O’Lakes in a big way.
He messaged that they were “biting constantly after sunset. Finishing with this beauty [of a] 15-incher. It swam back after a picture so it can go and produce lots of eggs when spawning time [comes].”
FOTW, the celebration of big fish and their stories (the stories matter) around Chicago fishing, runs Wednesdays in the paper Sun-Times.
