Suspicious death of man in Humboldt Park investigated as homicide

Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man found with head trauma early Friday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

Around 2 a.m., the 24-year-old man was found unresponsive and with trauma to his head in the 700 block of North Trumbull Avenue, Chicago police said.

The unidentified man was dead at the scene, police said. An autopsy is scheduled and no arrests have been made.

Area 4 detectives are investigating.
