1 injured in crash involving Denver police officer

One person was injured Sunday morning in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood in a two-car crash involving a police officer, according to the police department.

The crash happened near the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Ohio Avenue, according to a 4:53 a.m. post on X from the Denver Police Department.

Paramedics took one person to the hospital, police said.

Information about what caused the crash and whether the officer was on duty was not available Sunday morning.
