<p id=”par-2_69″>Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have entered a costly legal battle that will hopefully conclude in 2026. The <em>It Ends With Us</em> co-stars reportedly didn’t get along before Lively took legal action against Baldoni. In December 2024, Lively filed an 80-page complaint against Baldoni, his publicists, and the studio behind the film, alleging misconduct. Baldoni fired back by suing The New York Times and Lively along with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. </p>
<p id=”par-3_40″>Baldoni and his co-plaintiffs brought forth alleged texts that show Lively talking about Reynolds and Taylor Swift as her “dragons.” Swift allegedly tried to persuade Baldoni to make changes to the <em>It Ends With Us </em>script that Lively wrote. </p>
<p id=”par-4_50″>“I happen to have a few dragons,” Lively texted Baldoni, according to <a href=”https://people.com/blake-lively-compared-herself-to-khaleesi-in-texts-to-justin-baldoni-lawsuit-8776041″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>. “For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. [Smiley-face emoji] you will too, I can promise you.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_84″>An insider told <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-14333583/Blake-Lively-legal-battle-Justin-Baldoni-friendship-Taylor-Swift-ruined.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>DailyMail.com</a> that Swift doesn’t want anything to do with the lawsuit and never planned to meet up with Baldoni in the first place. “For the time being she is taking a step back from Blake because she doesn’t want to get tangled in this more than she already has — which is far more than she ever needed to be,” the source alleged. The insider added that Swift’s friends think Lively’s texts to Baldoni about her dragons were “uncool and unnecessary.”</p>

This allegedly “stresses” Swift. </p>
