<p id=”par-2_45″>Although they haven’t been seen together since, evidence resurfaced to suggest Ben Affleck felt threatened by Costner while he was still married to J.Lo. Affleck commented about <em>Yellowstone</em>, but he couldn’t have predicted a potential romance between his then-wife and one of the show’s stars.</p>

In fact, some fans think the <em>Argo</em> star called the relationship in 2023. The assumption feels like a bit of a stretch.</p>
<p id=”par-4_50″>In March 2023, Ben Affleck appeared on <em><a href=”https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/matt-damon-and-ben-affleck-on-four-decades-of/id1043699613?i=1000605273724″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Ben Simmons Podcast</a></em> and opened up about Jennifer Lopez’s love of <em>Yellowstone</em>. Affleck said he was “disturbed” by how invested in the show she had become. While Costner did star in the series, Lopez’s obsession was focused on a completely different actor.</p>
<p id=”par-5_65″>Affleck explained that Lopez was taken by the romance of Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton, played by Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, respectively. Affleck had previously worked with Hauser and insisted he was shocked that he wasn’t a bigger star much earlier in his career. Lopez’s potential interest in Costner never actually came up. According to <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2024/12/28/celebrity-news/jennifer-lopez-and-kevin-costner-seen-together-at-kemo-sabe-in-aspen/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Page Six</a>, Costner and Lopez spent time at Kemo Sabe, a Western wear store popular among Aspen’s celebrity vacationers. The duo were pictured just feet from each other. Still, there was no indication that they were together romantically, and at the time, many other celebrities were also there.</p>
