<p id=”par-2_45″>In a press release on Jan. 27, 2025, <a href=”https://peacock.cmail19.com/t/d-l-sjijyiy-tuhlthuikl-r/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Peacock</a> announced Garner, 52, is executive producing and starring in the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/from-scratch-book-adapted-tv-show-not-movie.html/”>streamer’s adaptation</a> of Hilderbrand’s <em>The Five-Star Weekend</em> book. It comes on the heels of Netflix’s adaptation of Hilderbrand’s book,<em> <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/the-perfect-couple-dakota-fanning-reveals-wild-reason-people-kept-staring-set.html/”>The Perfect Couple</a></em>, at Netflix in 2024. </p>
<p id=”par-3_42″>Produced by UCP, Garner’s joined by Bekah Brunsetter as creator, writer, and executive producer. Beth Schacter will also write and executive produce. Additionally, Sue Naegle and Ali Krug are executive producing through Dinner Party Productions. Hilderbrand will also serve as executive producer. </p>

<p id=”par-5_36″>For those who don’t devour Hilderbrand’s books during a day at the beach—ahem, this writer—she’s known for telling stories set at the beach. Most often, Nantucket, Mass., which is unsurprisingly where <em>The Five-Day Weekend </em>takes place. </p>
<p id=”par-6_44″>Hollis Shaw (Garner) is a successful food influencer who, despite how picture-perfect her life might seem online, is going through a difficult time. Following a devastating loss, she attempts to find herself and overcome her grief by celebrating the different stages of her life. </p>
<p id=”par-7_28″>How? By inviting friends or “stars” from various stages of her life—childhood, 20s, 30s, etc.—to her Nantucket home for the weekend with the addition of one surprise “star.” </p>
<p id=”par-8_29″>“Set against a luxurious and coastal backdrop, they will mature in ways they could never imagine as boundaries are pushed and secrets are exposed,” per the streamer’s press release.</p>
<p id=”par-9_46″>As <em>The Five-Star Weekend</em> is in the early stages of production, there are no casting details, trailer, or release date. Until then, fans can read Hilderbrand’s book and check out Garner’s other work based on books such as <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/apple-tv-plus/”>Apple TV</a>’s <em>The Last Thing He Told Me</em>. </p>
