Disneyland corn dogs, Dole Whips and candy canes will soon be joined by another snack food destined to draw long lines and attract impassioned foodies when the “ridiculously delicious” caramel popcorn imported from Epcot finally arrives in Downtown Disney.
Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn will be freshly made in the exhibition kitchen of the new Disney Wonderful World of Sweets when the revamped candy store opens at the Anaheim outdoor shopping mall next to Disneyland.
The former Marceline’s Confectionery currently undergoing a transformation into Disney Wonderful World of Sweets will also sell caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops and churro toffee.
The new Disney Wonderful World of Sweets is expected to open “very soon” in Downtown Disney now that construction walls have come down and a lighted entry sign has been installed, according to MiceChat.

Diehard Disney fans have long raved about the Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn available in Epcot’s Germany Pavilion at Karamell-Kuche — the only Werther’s store in the world.
“The popcorn adored by countless Walt Disney World visitors at Epcot’s Karamell-Kuche soon will be available to Disneyland visitors,” according to Theme Park Insider.

The Disney Food Blog calls the Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn “ridiculously delicious.”
“The beauty of this snack is that it can be shared,” according to the Disney Food Blog. “One bag can easily feed two people, if not more.”

A bag of caramel popcorn at Karamell-Kuche — which translates to “caramel kitchen” — costs $7.99, according to Touring Plans.
