How to watch the inauguration of Donald Trump as 47th president

Donald Trump returns to office as the President of the United States on Monday, when he will be inaugurated alongside Vice President-elect JD Vance during a ceremony inside the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C.

The inauguration starts at 10:30 a.m. CT with the swearing-in of Trump as 47th president expected sometime around 11 a.m. The event will be held indoors instead of its traditional outdoor setting due to concerns over cold weather.

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh will administer the VP oath of office for Vance, while Chief Justice John Roberts will handle the presidential oath of office for Trump.

Country singer Carrie Underwood and opera singer Christopher Macchio are among those set to perform.
