Gov. Jared Polis announced Friday that flags across the state will be raised to full-staff from sunrise to sunset on Jan. 20, when President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to be sworn in.
Flags are being flown at half-staff as part of a month of mourning for former President Jimmy Carter, according to a news release from the governor’s office.
Carter died Dec. 29, and flags will continue to be lowered after Inauguration Day, until Jan. 28.
