$100,000 reward offered for information on robber who stole mail from Loop offices

The U.S. Postal Service is offering a $100,000 reward for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of a person who impersonated a letter carrier and stole mail in the Loop.

In December the man stole mail from an office building in the Loop. The same person, again dressed as a mail carrier, also tried to steal mail from another office building in the Loop this month, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service said Tuesday.

The service did not identify which Loop buildings were targeted.
