A brush fire that blazed through the San Fernando Valley’s Sepulveda Basin was fully contained Thursday, authorities said.

Adding to a string of vegetation fires, the flames were initially reported at 75 acres just before 4 a.m. Wednesday at the park located near the 101 and 405 freeways, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

As of 11 a.m., the fire had been revised to 30 acres, with 0% containment, but firefighters confined the flames to the area and stopped it from spreading.

By 8:50 a.m. Thursday, the fire had been fully contained.
