Man fatally stabbed in Little Village, 1 in custody

A man was stabbed to death early Wednesday in Little Village on the Southwest Side.

The man, 40, was found unresponsive in the 2200 block of South Central Park Avenue about 5:50 a.m., Chicago police said.

He suffered multiple stab wounds on the body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. His name hasn’t been released.

One person was taken into custody, police said. Charges were pending.
