2 men shot, wounded in West Garfield Park

Two men were wounded in a shooting in West Garfield Park on Monday afternoon, Chicago police said.

The men, 31 and 49, were in a residence in the 700 block of South Kenneth Avenue at 1:08 p.m. when they were hit by gunfire, police said. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital, where the 49-year-old was in critical condition after being shot multiple times; the 31-year old was shot in the arm and back and was in good condition.

No one is in custody.
