East Bay pets of the week for Dec. 27

Hi, I’m Young! My littermates — Crosby, Stills and Nash — might’ve had “creative differences” over cozy nap spots, but I’m the solo star ready to steal the show! Just like Neil Young, I’ve got energy, charisma and a spark that makes me stand out. After a little Rock-‘n’-Roll fun, I’m all about quiet snuggles and purring softly like your favorite melody. Could I be your next greatest hit? Meet me today and let’s make beautiful music together! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Wybie is a sweet, 4-year-old Shepherd mix looking for a loving, active home! True to his breed this pup is smart and great at sniffing out what’s hidden, so long walks and exploring are his cup of tea. Wybie may take a little time to warm up to new faces, but once he does, he’s all about the love! Once this gentle soul bonds with you, he is an incredibly affectionate companion. Meet Wybie at our Dublin adoption center! The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Redvine is a sweet, curious, smart 5-year-old who can be a couch potato or a running companion! His previous fosters report, “He is such a sweetheart to have around. He likes to cuddle, sit on your lap, and LOVES the couch. He’s crate trained incredibly well and will voluntarily nap in there during the day. He’s also able to hang out and play by himself.” They went on and on but we have limited space! You can meet him Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter in 1590 Fortmann Way, Alameda, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.
