Man facing murder charges in Englewood slaying

A man has been charged in the slaying of a woman who was found dead in Englewood this month, Chicago police said.

Antwon Chambers, 32, was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree murder, police said.

Terryn Winters, 34, died of multiple injuries sustained in an assault, the Cook County medical examiner’s office determined. Winters was found in a building in the 7000 block of South Normal Boulevard about 4:10 p.m. Dec. 9, Chicago police said.

Winters was pronounced dead at the scene, the medical examiner’s office said.
