Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is behind bars awaiting trial in May 2025. Federal agents arrested Combs for racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution in September 2024. Several Danity Kane members spoke out against Combs’ treatment of them through the years. Recently, Danity Kane member Dawn Richard’s lawyer commented on how Combs’ “helpers” will be “brought to justice” very soon.

All eyes are on Sean “Diddy” Combs after his arrest in September 2024. Civil lawsuits continue to pile in against Combs, with claims ranging from drugging to sexual assault. Lawyer Lisa Bloom told <a href=”https://news.sky.com/story/sean-diddy-combs-allegations-are-tip-of-the-iceberg-says-lawyer-for-alleged-victim-dawn-richard-13275424″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Sky News that the current lawsuits against Combs are “just the tip of the iceberg.” And given the charges brought against him, he couldn’t act alone through the years.

“She’s sat and answered questions,” Bloom said of her client, Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard. “I assume other people probably have as well. So [criminal charges] could very well be forthcoming. … I think there will be more civil suits as well.”

Bloom said “no doubt there are hundreds more people” victimized by Combs, and “people associated with him” also need to be held accountable.

“Sean Combs is the top of the pyramid, he was the one orchestrating everything, but those who helped him also need to be brought to justice,” the lawyer continued.

“We want to hold accountable anybody who’s complicit, because to victimize people on this scale where we’re probably talking about hundreds of people, you can’t do that alone, you have to have helpers … people who actually saw incidents of abuse turned a blind eye to it and continued funding these events where things happened,” she continued. “They should be held accountable, and we intend to do that in our case.”

Richard knows Combs from the early-2000s reality series Making the Band. Combs formed the all-girl group, Danity Kane, from the show and signed them to his label. She later accused him of groping her and subjecting her and the other women to inhumane conditions.

Dawn Richard hoped Sean “Diddy” Combs could make her dream come true on Making the Band 3. Unfortunately, working with Combs proved nightmarish for Richard and the other members of Danity Kane. Aubrey O’Day, another member of the girl group, has become the most outspoken member against Combs.

“Compounding Mr. Combs’ violent acts and death threats, he flagrantly exploited Ms. Richard’s musical talent as a singer and writer while withholding her rightful earnings, stealing her copyrighted works, and subjecting her to years of inhumane working conditions which included groping, assault, and false imprisonment, among other violations,” Richard’s lawsuit reads, according to <a href=”https://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/diddy-sued-by-danity-kanes-dawn-richard-over-alleged-sexual-abuse/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>In Touch Weekly.

The lawsuit added that Combs made Richard believe that his abuse “was necessary for career advancement, instilling in her the belief that such abuse and exploitation were required for female artists to succeed in the music industry.”

Richard also allegedly witnessed Combs’ abuse of then-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

Celebrities who attended Sean “Diddy” Combs’ infamous sex parties, known as “freak-offs,” don’t want the public to know their involvement. According to Daniel Baldwin, electronically recorded celebrities entered a “bidding war” over the tapes.

“He has videos — he has videos of the parties,” Baldwin said while on the <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypJ3-R7hGBE” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>PBD Podcast. “Now, what I heard — which, I don’t know how much of it is in mainstream media. I don’t really follow the story that much. But, what I’ve heard from friends that are attorneys of friends of mine that have represented me before, agents, so on, there’s a bidding war going on right now. They’re driving that price up, because if you want your client, a famous actor to not be involved, or a famous singer, to come out, here’s the price. And they’re just selling to the individuals who are in those. This is what I heard! They’re selling those videos.”
