A person was killed Friday night in a shooting near East Colfax Avenue and Cherry Street in Denver, according to police.
Denver police wrote in a social media post at 10:36 p.m. that they had located one person suffering from unknown injuries and were working to identify a suspect. At 11:24 p.m., they said the victim had died and the shooting was being investigated as a homicide.
Denver police did not immediately respond to questions about the incident.
