<p id=”par-1_82″>Earlier this month, Walmart thrilled <em><em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/gilmore-girls/?swcfpc=1″>Gilmore Girls</a></em></em> fans when it released a holiday commercial featuring three of the show’s most beloved characters. The ad spot is a short one. Still, if you look carefully enough, the creative team packed in plenty of little Easter eggs. Scott Patterson, Sean Gunn, and Lauren Graham are the most prominently featured actors from the original series. They aren’t the only ones who appeared, though. If you look closely, one of <em>Gilmore Girls’ </em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/gilmore-girls-who-is-the-town-troubadour-plus-8-other-little-known-facts-about-stars-hollow.html/”>town troubadours</a> also appears.</p>

<p id=”par-2_61″>Scott Patterson has been opening up about filming the <em>Gilmore Girls-themed </em>commercial for Walmart on his podcast, <em><a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-i-am-all-in-with-scott-pa-81509112/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>I Am All In</a></em>, and he’s giving fans plenty of fun tidbits to look out for. In a recent episode, Patterson revealed that the other town troubadour, the one who ran a Kinko’s in Groton, Connecticut, was hanging around Stars Hollow for the commercial.</p>

<p id=”par-3_71″>Patterson noted that fans should be on the lookout for <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/gilmore-girls-grateful-dead-song-dave-gruber-allen-second-troubadour.html/”>Dave Allen</a>, the actor who played the second troubadour in several episodes of <em>Gilmore Girls</em>. He can be spotted sitting on a bench in the town square as Kirk Gleason walks a package to Luke’s Diner. He is only on screen for a few seconds. The addition of the famed second troubadour helped add a bit more Stars Hollow spirit, regardless.</p>

<p id=”par-4_58″>Dave Allen reprised his role as the second troubadour. Still, the original musician who graced the streets of Stars Hollow was nowhere in sight. So, what became of him? While the original town troubadour wasn’t given a name during the original run of <em>Gilmore Girls</em>, the actor who took on the role has had a pretty illustrious career.</p>

He may pop up again if a second revival is ever made. Fans have been campaigning for <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/scott-patterson-has-an-idea-for-gilmore-girls-a-year-in-the-life-2.html/”>a second revival</a> since the 2016 Netflix special aired. Still, no official announcements have been made. Several key actors have expressed interest, though. </p>
