Man wounded in West Ridge shooting

A man was wounded in a shooting in West Ridge on Monday evening, Chicago police said.

The man, 23, was in an apartment in the 6000 block of North Mozart Street at 7:08 p.m. when he was shot in the chest, police said. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in critical condition.

No one is in custody.
