An accusor stepped forward and claimed that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/jay-z-responds-rape-allegations-calls-lawyer-ambuance-chaser.html/”>Jay-Z raped her at 13 years old</a> with Combs present. This accusation came after a slew of accusations against Combs, which ranged from assault to drugging. Now, we’re looking back at what Nicki Minaj said about Jay-Z and Combs’ friendship in the past. <p id=”par-2_81″>Nicki Minaj, real name Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, doesn’t have great words for Jay-Z, real name Shawn Corey Carter, when it comes to the sale of his streaming service, Tidal. Record executive Steve Stoute discussed the situation on <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/@thepivotpodcast/videos” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”><em>The Pivot</em> podcast</a> on Sept. 20, 2024. According to Stoute, Jay-Z gave Minaj “equity” in Tidal before selling the service in 2021. However, Minaj “didn’t sign the f***ing paperwork,” according to Stoute, which caused the rapper to leave “millions of dollars on the table.”</p>
<p id=”par-3_99″>Minaj doesn’t agree with this take. On Sept. 21, 2024, she <a href=”https://x.com/NICKIMINAJ/status/1837568576062214393″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>tweeted</a> about her recollection of events. “I received a call advising Tidal was sold & they made no money on the deal so all they could offer me was a million dollars,” she tweeted at the time. Minaj didn’t accept this deal, claiming the $1 million payout was an attempt to “silence” her. Minaj also claimed that Jay-Z and Stoute turned attention toward her so that it would take the heat off of Jay-Z’s well-known friendship with Sean “Diddy” Combs. Combs was arrested on Sept. 16, 2024. </p>
<p id=”par-4_62″>“We want to know if u were present during abuse of teenagers & children,” Minaj continued on <a href=”https://x.com/NICKIMINAJ/status/1837582534970167583″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X</a>, referring to Stout and Jay-Z. “That’s what we wanna know. … Did u know about the abuse to Kim Porter & Cassie? Y’all seemed to always run in a sorta … RAT PACK. So that’s what we the ppl want you & your peeps to speak on.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_59″>Minaj said she couldn’t believe she attended the boy’s Sweet 16 as his date. “But yes, I had a great time, and he was so fun, and funny, and very cute, too,” she continued. “I wonder, who was his girlfriend at the time? Because whatever girlfriend he had at school, I know she was probably really mad at him.”</p>

We work together in a certain type of unofficial capacity. But I don’t really know where they really got that from. We still work together but it’s not about going around saying I’m her manager — she really does a lot of things by herself. And whatever ways I can assist the situation, or whatever that title is, that’s what I do. I play my position on the team.” </p>
