Disneyland is dropping the virtual queue option for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure less than a month after the new log flume ride debuted in the rechristened Bayou Country land at the Anaheim theme park.
Disneyland will end the use of the virtual queue on Tuesday, Dec. 10 and start using the standby queue for the first time while keeping the paid Lightning Lane line-cutting options in place.

“This seems to be the quickest Disney has dropped the virtual queue for a new attraction,” according to MousePlanet.
Virtual queue spots for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure often disappeared in seconds when they were distributed daily at 7 a.m., noon and 4 p.m. on the Disneyland app since the ride officially debuted on Nov. 15.

“This means no more waking up at 7 a.m. for that first VQ drop or stressing about park wifi as you try to catch the second drop,” according to AllEars.
The Tiana’s Bayou Adventure virtual queue has been in place since Magic Key annual passholder previews began on Oct. 21.

Demand remains high for the new ride and Lightning Lane users should make booking Tiana’s Bayou Adventure a top priority to avoid late return times, according to MickeyVisit.
The move means no rides will be using the virtual queue system at Disneyland or Disney California Adventure.

Disneyland removed the virtual queue for Haunted Mansion Holiday in November. DCA’s “World of Color” still uses a virtual queue to distribute viewing area assignments.
Disneyland promised the temporary Lightning Lane option on Pirates of the Caribbean would be removed once capacity increased on the west side of the park with the return of the Haunted Mansion and the debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, according to MiceChat.
