3.4-acre Agoura Hills home with lake views, rooftop deck aims for $6.5 million

A Malibou Lake-view home in Agoura Hills primed for entertaining is on the market for $6.495 million.

Completed in 2023 and never lived in, this 6,524-square-foot contemporary-style dwelling has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a 1,700-square-foot rooftop entertaining deck with explosive views.

The property sits atop nearly 3.5 acres of manicured grounds in a community of four homes secured by an automated gate just outside the Malibou Lake HOA boundary.

A 400-foot gated driveway leads to the entrance, where a glass pivot door opens into the minimalist living space.

High ceilings and glass walls, with windows stacked atop sliding doors, flood the living room with natural light and offer hilltop views of the Malibou Lake community and Santa Monica Mountains. The glass doors extend the interior to the backyard, which features an infinity pool and spa, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and a fire pit.

In the dining room, there is a temperature-controlled wine wall.

The eat-in gourmet kitchen features sleek cabinetry from the German brand Leicht, quartz countertops, an island with seating for five and Miele appliances. A dumbwaiter from the kitchen services the rooftop.

“When you’re entertaining, you can send sushi platters and drinks to the rooftop,” said Cody Garcia of The Agency, the co-listing agent by phone.

The rooftop has been plumbed and wired to support a future outdoor kitchen and hot tub. Frosted glass panels separate the entertaining space from the 10-kilowatt solar system and 5-zone HVAC to avoid interfering with the views.

Other highlights include an office, indoor-outdoor gym and a screening room.

A fireplace warms the primary suite, which has a wraparound balcony. The bedroom flows into two walk-in closets and a spa-inspired bathroom with a glass-enclosed steam shower, soaking tub and heated floor, bidet and towel rack.

The garage features high ceilings, providing ample space for a car lift.

Smart home technology, rooftop speakers and dozens of security cameras round out the offering.

Sandro Dazzan of The Agency shares the listing.

Swiss architect Roger Karuth, from the award-winning international firm GoDesign21, designed the custom home that replaced an older wood-frame structure destroyed in the Woolsey Fire in November 2018. It incorporates fire-resistent features, including a smooth stucco exterior finish, indoor sprinklers and a defensible space around the home.
