Two wounded in east Aurora shooting Friday evening

A pair was hospitalized after a shooting in an east Aurora condominium complex Friday evening, according to police.

Officers responded to multiple 911 calls about gunshots in the 18400 block of Kepner Place at about 6:15 p.m. When first responders arrived, they found one man suffering from life-threatening injuries and took him to the hospital.

A second man transported himself to a local urgent care and was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police said Friday night that they were still investigating the incident but believed there were no suspects at large.
