<p id=”par-2_46″>Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal work united the couple at personal appearances and other formal duties related to the crown. After they departed their royal roles in March 2020, Harry and Meghan took some time to find their footing outside of the House of Windsor.</p>
<p id=”par-3_44″>They didn’t have to wait long. The couple were quickly signed to a reported 5-year $100M Netflix contract, as well as a podcast contract with Spotify and a book contract for Harry to write <em>Spare</em>. These endeavors netted the couple quite a hefty sum.</p>
<p id=”par-4_44″>However, after debuting <em>Harry & Meghan</em> on Netflix, the couple’s next projects for the streaming service never caught fire. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-podcast-guide-archetypes-episodes.html/?swcfpc=1″>Meghan’s podcast</a> was axed after one year. Harry’s book tour exposed cracks within the royal family, dividing the couple from the House of Windsor further.</p>
<p id=”par-5_26″>Currently, the couple appears to have split professionally. They are working separately and reportedly “experimenting” with it being a more permanent part of their workload. </p>
<p id=”par-6_27″><a href=”https://www.gbnews.com/royal/prince-harry-meghan-markle-professional-separation-royal-news” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>GB News</a> quoted royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams who explained, “This is obviously a new tactic. The Sussexes want to promote their brand as best as they can.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_55″>“They have tried something that has worked with the so-called royal tours of Nigeria and Colombia. Then we have got the solo engagements, so they are experimenting,” he continued. “The Sussexes need to keep their profile as they can’t attack the Royal Family at the moment, so now they have to think up new devices.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_41″>In contrast, while Meghan is confident alone, she also appears to have no clear professional direction. Currently, Meghan has a <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/going-meghan-markles-american-riviera-orchard-lifestyle-brand.html/?swcfpc=1″>project named American Riviera Orchard</a> in the pipeline, but after months the lifestyle website still has not made its official debut.</p>
<p id=”par-11_40″>Meghan was signed to WME in 2023. Film and TV series development and production, as well as business and brand partnerships, were the initial focus of her brand. No further news has been revealed about any new projects thus far.</p>

<p id=”par-14_38″>“While the online world can help develop strategies to protect children from violence, it also introduces new risks. Such as from individuals who exploit gaps in our outdated legal systems, which often don’t account for today’s digital realities.”</p>
<p id=”par-15_43″>Meghan added, “My husband and I recognize that today’s reality is marked by greater connectivity and advanced technology, which, of course, has many positives. However, it also compels us to better understand how digital violence against children is manifesting itself in this age.”</p>
