Nearly 20 businesses burglarized over last month on Northwest, Near West and Near South Sides, cops say

Chicago police are looking for a burglary crew that has hit nearly 20 businesses – eight on Tuesday – since late October on the Northwest, Near West and Near South Sides.

In each break-in, four to five males wearing dark clothing, face masks and gloves break the front glass door or side window to gain access to an establishment and grab cash boxes and registers, Chicago police said.

They flee in either a black Nissan Altima, gray Infiniti G37, dark Nissan SUV or a white Infiniti Sedan, police said.

Most recently, eight burglaries happened Tuesday in a span of about two and a half hours, while four happened on Nov. 17, five on Oct. 27 and the first in the string on Oct. 26.
