Appliances worth $10,000 stolen from Los Gatos development

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 3:48 p.m. at Heintz Open Space on Regent Drive. A caller reported that someone was “going back and forth” on a white dirt bike.

GRAND THEFT: 4:50 p.m. at Safeway on Pollard Road. A man reportedly took about $1,200 worth of liquor.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 7:55 p.m. at Carlton and National avenues. A vehicle was blasting loud music.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 9:46 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A caller said juveniles were walking around with open beer cans and alcohol containers while playing loud music.

Nov. 22

GRAND THEFT: 9:47 a.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Two people entered the store’s back room freezer and took $2,500 worth of product.

TRESPASS: 1:50 p.m. at Starbucks on Union Avenue. A caller reported that a man rushed him and wanted to fight him outside, refusing to leave the store.

GRAND THEFT: 12:45 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A caller reported that someone distracted him and took money out of his car.

VEHICLE CODE VIOLATION: 5:17 p.m. at Belgatos Park on Belgatos Lane. Two people were riding motorcycles up and down the trails in the park.

Nov. 18

GRAND THEFT: 10 a.m. at North 40 on South Turner Street and Lark Avenue. Appliances worth about $10,000 were stolen from the development.

TRESPASS: 11:07 a.m. on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller told police that a man was banging on their door and screaming, asking them to cut his hair.
