<p id=”par-1_53″>It’s no secret that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-harry/?swcfpc=1″>Prince Harry</a> and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-markle/?swcfpc=1″>Meghan Markle</a> aren’t the biggest fans of President-elect <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/donald-trump/?swcfpc=1″>Donald Trump</a> and vice-versa. In fact, during Trump’s state visit to the U.K. in 2019, Prince Harry and his brother opted not to do a photo opp with Trump following the comments he made about Meghan being “nasty.”</p>
<p id=”par-2_50″>And more recently there was reportedly <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-meghan-fear-donald-trump-do-election-win-expert-says.html/?swcfpc=1″>worry among the Duke and Duchess of Sussex</a> about Trump being reelected because he stated that unlike the Biden administration, he wouldn’t step in and shield Harry’s visa records which if the prince did lie on could lead to a potential deportation scenario. </p>
<p id=”par-3_38″>But no matter what the incoming president thinks of the Sussexes <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/melania-trump/?swcfpc=1″>Trump’s wife, Melania</a>, apparently gets “inspiration” from Meghan in the way she interacts with her husband. Here’s what a body language expert has said about that. </p>

<p id=”par-4_53″>Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.” </p>
<p id=”par-5_32″>He’s also analyzed the actions of some royal family members and politicians and is sharing how Melania has adopted a few of the same techniques we see Megan use so often. </p>
<p id=”par-6_49″>Speaking on behalf of <a href=”https://www.spingenie.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Spin Genie</a>, Stanton explained: “One of Meghan’s subtle techniques with Harry is to touch his elbow when he’s mid-conversation and it’s a way to signal she would like attention or she would like to leave. You can see Harry reacting accordingly almost every time. </p>

<p id=”par-7_30″>The expert added: “She can also give a subtle look to Harry that is his cue to bring her into a conversation. She never makes it too obvious though. </p>
<p id=”par-8_56″>“Melania does the same with Donald Trump when they’re together. Like Meghan, she’s careful to not steal the spotlight but this subtle move shows she has some control in the relationship. Melania has also been known to signal how she is feeling to her husband with a look. She can say a lot with her eyes.”</p>

<p id=”par-9_60″>According to Stanton, the women also “use their height to their advantage, standing up straight and maintaining a good amount of eye contact with whoever they are conversing with. Meghan never displays signs she’s nervous or anxious, such as fiddling with buttons or touching the back of her neck. She captivates the camera and commands a room with ease. </p>
<p id=”par-10_14″>“Melania displays very similar traits and can steal the spotlight without doing too much.”</p>

<p id=”par-11_19″>Going forward Stanton opined that Melania may opt to wear more of the power color Meghan favors. </p>
