Shannon Storms Beador of the “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and ex-boyfriend John Janssen have settled a lawsuit over an alleged $75,000 loan he gave her for a facelift , ending a legal dispute that largely played out in front of TV cameras rather than in a courtroom.
Janssen earlier this month filed a notice of settlement in the Orange County Superior Court Case over payments he described as a loan but that she countered were gifts, clearing the way for the case to be dismissed.
Beador’s attorney, David P. Beitchman, said on Friday, Nov. 22 that Beador had decided that “the economics of fighting, and winning, what we believe was a baseless action didn’t pencil out…
“Shannon wired John $60,000 to put this matter to rest — for good,” Beitchman said. “By buying her peace, Shannon showed her true commitment to closing this unfortunate chapter and moving forward. I certainly hope Mr. Jannsen has the same sensibilities and that he too wants to move on.”
The lawsuit acknowledged the “ups and downs” of the couple’s dating relationship, which was well documented on “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”

Asked about the suit earlier in the season by Bravo host Andy Cohen, Beador replied that she didn’t believe she owed Janssen the money, but she was willing to pay to make the lawsuit go away.
