Rose Parade 2025: Kaiser Permanente unveils its float

Kaiser Permanente, a familiar name in the Rose Parade lineup, has announced its 19th annual float entry for the iconic event on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Titled “More Healthy Days for More Healthy Years”, the float embodies the healthcare provider’s belief that “everyone should have the opportunity to live their best, healthiest life every day”. It celebrates total health – body, mind, and spirit – and showcases the organization’s commitment to supporting the wellbeing of its members and communities, officials said.

“Kaiser Permanente is privileged to serve our members, patients, and communities, and we are unwavering in our dedication to their total health and wellbeing,” Kaiser Permanente’s Chair and CEO Greg A. Adams said in a statement. “Our commitment to helping people live long, healthy, active lives is built on our 80-year history of providing high-quality and affordable health care and coverage and our focus on improving physical, mental, and social health.”

Designed and built by Phoenix Decorating Company, the float is aligned with the theme of the 2025 Rose Parade “Best Day Ever!” by celebrating life’s best moments, officials said.

The float’s vibrant, intricate design brings a day of healthy living to life, starting with a glowing sun at one end and ending with a tranquil moon at the other.

Between these two symbols, the float is adorned with scenes of healthy activities, including displays of nutritious foods, people engaging in physical exercise and mental wellness practices, all of which celebrate wellbeing for individuals of all ages and abilities.

On Jan. 1, some of Kaiser Permanente’s members, care teams, and community partners will participate in the parade by standing and walking alongside the float.

Many of these participants have inspiring stories of how the “best day ever” becomes possible when physical, emotional and mental health come together. The list of float participants will be announced in December.

Kaiser Permanente’s long journey in the Rose Parade is adorned with numerous accolades, including the President Award (2024); Theme Award (2022); the Wrigley Legacy Award (2020); the Grand Marshal’s Trophy (2016); Judges’ Special Trophy (2015); Theme Trophy (2013); Lathrop K.
