The Great Los Angeles Walk 2024 – USC to UCLA: The 19th “city-wide urban hike” begins before 9 a.m. Nov. 23 at a location in Exposition Park, and ends in Westwood (approximately 14-miles). Los Angeles Union Station Tree Lighting: The 9th annual event — first time, however, in the train station’s historic Ticket Concourse — includes musical entertainment by Kingston Ska Orchestra and Los Rebeldes Romanticos, and arts and crafts, cookies, holiday characters, photo opportunities, and Santa Claus helps to lead the countdown to the lighting of the 30-foot tree, 6-9 p.m. Nov. 25. Hollywood Christmas Parade – Supporting Marine Toys for Tots: The 92nd parade kicks off, 6 p.m. Dec. 1. Grand Marshal: Jeremy Renner, actor, musician and founder of the nonprofit RennerVation that helps children in foster care and at-risk youth. Parade hosts: Dean Cain, Laura McKenzie, Elizabeth Stanton, Montel Williams.
