Riders aboard the Ministry of Magic dark ride coming to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter themed land at the new Epic Universe theme park will help Harry, Ron and Hermione thwart an escape, fend off Death Eaters and solve a mystery.
Universal Orlando has pulled back the curtain on the new Battle at the Ministry motion simulator ride that will serve as the marquee attraction in the Ministry of Magic themed land coming to the Universal Epic Universe theme park in Florida.

The new Epic Universe park will open May 22 with more than 50 rides, attractions, shows and experiences.

The Ministry of Magic themed land will recreate the streets of 1920s Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films and the British wizarding governmental headquarters from the Harry Potter franchise.
The Battle at the Ministry motion simulator ride will be the marquee attraction in the new Potter land at Epic Universe.

The Battle at the Ministry queue will let riders travel from Paris to the Ministry of Magic via the Metro-Floo wizarding mass transit system.

Riders will emerge from the Metro-Floo through a fireplace-like structure into the formidable green and purple grand atrium of the Ministry of Magic.

The queue will take riders past the Fountain of Magical Brethren statue and Ministry of Magic offices located beneath an enchanted weather ceiling.

The elaborate queue will pass through one-time Hogwarts Headmistress Dolores Umbridge’s office where the headmistress will be hastily cleaning out her belongings ahead of her trial.

Umbridge’s pink and gold office will feature a glittering chandelier and a life-like figure of her former house-elf Higgledy.

Along the way, Potter fans will visit the mysterious Time Room, cavernous Magical Archives library, Auror crime investigation office and Department of Magical Creatures.
Throughout the queue, props will include Daily Prophet newspapers, Ministry case files and interdepartmental memos.

Riders will board a magical elevator that will take them to attend Umbridge’s trial for her crimes against the wizarding world.

The 14-seat omnidirectional ride vehicle will move up, down, forward, backward and sideways.
The Ministry of Magic themed land will also feature a live show called “Le Cirque Arcanus” blending live performers, puppetry and special effects.
Baguettes Magique will serve as the wand shop in the new land run by designer wandmaker Cosme Acajor.

Cafe L’air De La Sirene will serve French-inspired food while Le Gobelet Noir tavern will have a dark magic theme.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will expand to its third Universal theme park with the opening of Epic Universe — joining the Hogsmeade land at Universal Studios Florida and the Diagon Alley land at Islands of Adventure.

In addition to Harry Potter’s Ministry of Magic, the 750-acre Epic Universe will feature four other themed lands: How to Train Your Dragon’s Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World and Celestial Park.
