Hear Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin & Iron Maiden songs all in one night

It’s time to bang your heads, dear rock fans, as Zakk Wylde brings the King of the Monstours to the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on Dec. 1.

The supremely talented rock guitarist, best known for his time supporting Ozzy Osbourne as well as for leading his own Black Label Society band, is fronting his awesome Black Sabbath tribute act — Zakk Sabbath — on this road show.

That means that fans can expect to hear some truly monumental covers of such great Black Sabbath cuts as “Iron Man,” “War Pigs,” “The Wizard,” “Solitude” and “Sweet Leaf.” All of those are tunes featured on Zakk Sabbath’s latest collection, “Greatest Riffs.”

Of course, there are a number of Sabbath tributes out there — and some of them are pretty good. But want separates Zakk Sabbath from the pack is the stellar guitar work of Wylde (who recently has been performing as part of Pantera as well). There are just very few people who handle these legendary Sabbath guitar parts better than Wylde. Indeed, the only name that immediately comes to mind is original riff-master himself, Tony Iommi.

Showtime is 7 p.m. and tickets are $39.50, axs.com.
