Man killed in Archer Heights crash

A man was killed in a car accident in Archer Heights early Saturday morning, according to Chicago police.

The man, 24, was driving a silver SUV northbound in the 4300 block of South Pulaski Road at 12:24 a.m. when a southbound black sedan, driven by a 19-year-old man, collided with the SUV, police said. The 19-year-old was severely injured and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died.

The 24-year-old was taken to St. Anthony Hospital in fair condition with a broken arm, police said.

The crash is under investigation.
