Reagan Library in Simi Valley shows Christmas trees from around the world

Christmas Around the World, a show now open at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, includes 26 beautifully decorated trees representing the 26 countries that President Reagan visited as president, including the United Kingdom. Also on display is a White House tree.

For the first time, Christmas Around the World, an annual event at the Library, will feature the original fireplace mantle from President and Mrs. Reagan’s home in Bel Air, which Library officials note was the Reagans’ “final residence together.”

Among all the stunning trees, the featured Christmas tree is an elegant reproduction of President and Mrs. Reagan’s White House tree “complete with ‘Reagan Red’ decorations and dozens of hand-blown glass ornaments,” according to the Library in a prepared statement. The Library is welcoming for children and families  and notes that Santa will be at the Library “on select dates.”
