Bears predictions: Week 11 vs. Packers

The Sun-Times’ experts offer their picks for the Bears’ game Sunday against the Packers at Soldier Field (noon, Fox 32):

Rick Morrissey

Packers, 27-13:  The circus continues with a new Bears offensive coordinator, Thomas Brown, but the same issues that have caused Caleb Williams to go backward in his development. Season: 6-3.

Rick Telander

Packers, 24-16: How could anyone predict the Bears beating the Packers? I mean, like, ever. In football. Not me. Season: 5-4.

Scoop Jackson

Packers, 44-20:  Every psychological advantage the Bears could have had leading into this stretch against all NFC North opponents was lost in the last three games. And if we think Shane Waldron was the only problem, we stupid. Season: 5-4.

Patrick Finley

Packers, 24-15: How lopsided is the series? The Bears have lost 10-of-11, 15-of-16, 19-of-21 and 23-of-26 to the Packers. It’d take a minor miracle to end that run of dominance Sunday. Season: 7-2.

Jason Lieser

Packers, 24-13: Switching offensive coordinators doesn’t change the fact that the Bears have a Matt Eberflus problem. As usual, they’re miles behind the Packers. Season: 5-4.

Mark Potash

Packers, 24-17: The Bears figure to get a boost with Brown replacing Waldron as offensive coordinator, and this team is well-equipped for a productive about-face. But at this point, you have to see it to believe it. Season: 5-4.

Latest on the Bears
The Bears have found a new crisis.
Xavier McKinney’s beef with the Bears receiver goes back to May.
Eberflus has been saying “full responsibility” a lot lately, which is exactly how it sounded at the end for Matt Nagy three years ago. It’s better than shirking blame, but eventually there’s too much “full responsibility” for a coach to keep his job.
