Fatal shooting in Paramount investigated

PARAMOUNT — A man was shot to death Monday morning in Paramount, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at 4:15 a.m. at the Long Beach (710) Freeway and Somerset Boulevard, near the Los Angeles River, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which was investigating.

Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene and there was no other immediate information available.
