Two teenage boys were shot Friday afternoon in the West Town neighborhood.
The teens, ages 16 and 17, were walking about 1:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Noble Street when someone on an electric scooter approached them, pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots, Chicago police said.
The younger boy was shot in his calf, and the other boy was shot twice in his foot, police said. They were taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
The gunman fled on the scooter, police said. Area 3 detectives are investigating.
